Meet the Team
Office & BAMM Agency Manager
Stacey’s experience in the makeup industry spans more than 13 years, with Beauty Makeup being Stacey’s significant area of expertise.
Stacey bought her own salon in Royal Tunbridge wells in Kent and soon began to establish an admirable reputation for wedding makeup - both in her salon and privately.
She moved to the West Country and soon found an opportunity for herself with an established South-West based makeup company. Very quickly, Stacey was promoted to South-West Regional Makeup Trainer status, as well as being given a Senior Makeup Trainer position for their London clients.
In this role, Stacey tutored many aspiring Makeup Artists, as well as those already established and working as professional Makeup Artists in the industry.
Stacey progressed further in her role by writing the training material for the post-graduate South-West makeup courses and that of the London College of Fashion.
Stacey is now both the Office Manager at BAMM and one of our Bridal Makeup Course Tutors.
Passionate about makeup and quality training, experienced, approachable and well organised, Stacey is a perfect fit for BAMM.
Stacey also runs our agency, placing BAMM students into work placements for TV, Film and Bridal.
Social Media Manager
Jo is Mel's sister and has worked with the BAMM team since the beginning. She started out as our events organiser and was responsible for our fantastic launch party in 2012.
She has since put her excellent skills to good use building up our social media presence and taking us from around 700 likes to more than 6500 on Facebook!
She goes to great lengths to ensure that each of our students get their fair share of the Facebook limelight whilst on our courses. She has also started to write the blogs on our website.
Tax, Accounts, Self Assessment and Invoicing
Rachael is a personal friend to BAMM’s Principal Melanie Weekley. In exchange for makeup tips, Rachael comes in each term to educate students of the Peter Swords King TV and Film Makeup course and Gozra Lozano fashion Course in the all important steps on becoming self employed, managing accounts, invoicing correctly and what is or isn’t tax deductible in the makeup industry.
Rachel has worked in practice since 1997 and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2004, during this time she has worked in both local and national accountancy practices in Bath and Bristol gaining valuable experience in all aspects of accounts, audit and tax. Her friendly nature and love and passion for makeup ensures Rachael is the perfect person to guide our students correctly, efficiently and with ease when setting up as self employed, freelance makeup artists.
Early birds will meet Bill’s friendly face each morning. He cleans the school, fixes and mends. Bill often help tutors and students as a last min stand in model!
Tristan is married to Jo and is Mel's brother-in-law. He is not only a Wealth Manager, but also our website developer!
Having been inspired by the career switchers who have regularly gone through our doors, he decided that he was bored of working in IT and wanted to work with people instead.
He has retrained and now works as a Wealth Manager, helping individuals, families and small businesses secure and grow their wealth.
His talk on our business module always goes down very well with the class. Tristan provides a high level overview of financial concerns students will encounter when they become self employed. This includes provisions for protection, pensions and general savings and investment.
Guy is a freelance photographer based in Bristol, specialising in portrait and product photography. Recent personal projects have taken Guy to Iceland for the landscape and to benedictine monasteries here in the UK for a photo documentary.
Guy is responsible for most of the professional photo shoots we have at BAMM and helps our students understand the process of each shoot.
Liz is a voluntary BAMM member, who often pops in to take behind the scenes photos. Liz provides us with beautiful images to splatter across our social media pages whilst documenting our students progress. This provides our students with personal profile shots to use on their CVs and media collateral. Liz is on the committee of the Bath Alkmaar Twinning Association, Bath Photographic Society and the Royal Photographic Society Western Region.
“It is great seeing and recording how the students transform their models to the module brief. Some of the images I have taken have helped me achieve my licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society. Allowing me to use LRPS after my name."
