For the Advanced Wig Making Course, students will be required to make a 12-inch, centre parted female wig.
Hair colours can be chosen and mixed by your tutor at the academy. A total of 250 grams of hair will be assigned to each student available on the day you start.
Who this course is for:
Basic/ Intermediate level knotter.
The Advanced Wig Making Course is designed for candidates who hold competent knotting skills and wish to progress into the art of wig making. Candidates do not have to be a fast knotter but a basic understanding is helpful.
Prepping a head/ hair for foundation measurements.
Preparation of your wig block.
Making a foundation.
Knotting techniques and directions for main body of wig.
Knotting of wig at students own pace with consistent and constant guidance.
Additional information provided and demonstrated in this course includes:
Whipping techniques for wig repair.
Your final day will be a consolidation of all techniques learnt and the application of your wig.
