When you’ve completed one of BAMM’s makeup courses, your BAMM Certificate of Completion will show the name and date of your course and the makeup tutors who’ve coached you. This is signed off by Academy Principal, Melanie Weekley. BAMM is a recognised and respected training academy within the industry thanks to the high quality of students we produce.
BAMM are accredited by The British Accreditation Council for Independent Further and Higher Education (BAC).
One of the greatest reasons for choosing to study with Bath Academy of Media Makeup is that all our tutors are actively working within the industry and can help you get started.
Our ethos is to provide as much help and support as possible to get you working within the industry when your makeup course is over. Our staff actively help every BAMM graduate find real work experience openings and help develop the contact base you’ll need to get going.
We include a Business Module within each of our courses to make sure our graduates are properly prepared to enter the industry. This is an area that is often overlooked but is essential for success as graduates will in effect be self-employed. We also have the BAMM Agency which the TV & Film industry regularly approach when looking for makeup talent, particularly for filming in the South-West.
We are constantly working for graduates by forging relationships with work experience and trainee placement providers. BAMM is committed to producing the best makeup artists and hair stylists and the calibre of students we’re producing is becoming increasingly well recognised within the industry.
BAMM class sizes are usually between 8-10 students. We limit to a maximum of 12, to make sure everyone is learning in a small-group setting and receiving the best individual tuition.
