Jacqui’s career spans over 20 years in the UK Film and Television Industry. She has worked through many creative role positions such as designing BBC flagship drama, including the pilot for the internationally acclaimed Being Human series starring Aidan Turner. Crowd supervision credits including ‘The Comic Strips’ Peter Richardson directing Churchill: The Hollywood Years, starring Neve Campbell and Christian Slater .

A large proportion of her work has been on Period Drama and classical adaptation. Jacqui is passionate about the genre of cinematic story telling and particularly enjoys working on ‘true’ historical productions.  One of her most recent role positions involved working with the main makeup team on producer Bill Kenwright’s WWII feature, Another Mother’s Son. This is based on the true story of Louisa Gould and the Nazi occupation of Jersey, starring Ronan Keating and John Hannah and Jenny Seagrove.

Five years freelancing on BBC’s Casualty founded her passion for SFX & prosthetics skills, which lead to Jacqui specialising her training further with Neill Gorton’s Award winning SFX Creature Design Studio. Jacqui’s work profile includes long running BBC drama’s such as Robin Hood, starring Jonas Armstrong, Richard Armitage and Gordon Kennedy, Lark Rise to Candleford, where Jacqui worked as PMA for Dawn French. Other credits include: gritty pre and post war drama The Night Watch, starring Clare Foy and Anna Maxwell Martin and the recently aired Time Crashers with Keith Allen and Kirsty Alley. 

At present Jacqui is designer on the 1919 feature Born a King. Having shot the UK part of this true story, Jacqui and her team are travelling to Saudi Arabia to complete the shoot.
